Once a website is submitted, our team will check if it meets the requirements before being sent to the MWA rating system and Jury panel. Sites can take up to 1 month to get published, and as our approval process is carried out manually, there may be delays due to the large volume of submissions.

Submissions will be verified by the jury panel and SWA rating system. An email notification on your submission/website approval will then be sent to you.

The 30 highest-scoring sites in a year (10 highest-scoring sites per category) are nominated for the Web Excellence Award and reviewed by the Jury a second time. The SWA rating system plays an important part in choosing the nominees from the submissions as sites with the highest scores will carry extra weight in the Jury's final decision.
